Pondo at ETH Denver 2025: The Recap 🎏
ETH Denver 2025 was nothing short of legendary for Pondo. From missing fish mysteries to packed booth hours, from swag giveaways to sushi-powered partnerships — Pondo made its mark in the biggest way yet.
Here’s everything that went down.
🐟 Wednesday, 26th February: The Mystery Begins
Philip the Pondo Fish went missing at the ETH Denver Opening Party. Witnesses last saw him dancing in the VIP section, and rumors quickly spread. The hunt was on.
To kick off the #ReelInPNDO campaign, we plastered “Missing” signs all over Denver, teasing something big for the days ahead. Pondo was already making a splash before the event even officially began.
🎯 Thursday, 27th February: Pondo Takes Over ETH Denver
ETH Denver opened its doors, and Pondo was front and center.
🔹 10 AM — 2 PM Booth Time: Thanks to Aleo, we had prime booth real estate to showcase liquid staking on Aleo.
🔹 4 Philip the Pondo Fish mascots roamed the venue, handing out swag, taking selfies, and driving massive engagement.

Day two brought even more energy.
🔹 10 AM — 2 PM Booth Time: Pondo continued discussing key partnerships with top builders, projects, and staking-focused teams.
🔹 Nintendo Switch Giveaway: Another winner found Philip the Pondo Fish and walked away with a brand-new Switch.
🔹 Hit the Target Game remained a massive hit, keeping the Pondo booth buzzing.
🔹 Philip photobombed interviews, crashed other booths, and popped up everywhere.
🔹 Pondo Sushi Dinner:
• Partners, builders, and Aleo team members joined us for an exclusive invite-only sushi dinner.
- Wireless chargers were gifted, discussions over future collaborations were had, and Pondo was the topic of the night.
🎤 Saturday, 1st March: Panels, Partnerships & Pondo Everywhere
Philip continued to be a wanted fish, and the energy never slowed down.
🔹 Xbox Giveaway: Yet another lucky winner walked away with a brand-new Xbox for participating in #ReelInPNDO.
🔹 ZeFi Day at Cat Bird Hotel:
• The entire entrance was covered in Pondo stickers and posters.
• Howard from Aleo dressed as a Pondo fish, proving he’s a true Pondo OG.
🔹 Panel Time — The Future of DeFi:
• Rob from Pondo spoke about ecosystem growth and liquid staking.
• Live-streamed & attended by a packed audience.
🔹 Philip continued appearing at side events, keeping Pondo in the spotlight all day long.
📱 Sunday, 2nd March: The Grand Finale
All good things must come to an end, and Pondo finished ETH Denver on a high note.
🔹 iPhone 16 Pro Max Giveaway: The grand prize of #ReelInPNDO was awarded to a lucky winner.
🔹 Final swag drops: We gave away the last of our Pondo hoodies, stickers, and chargers.
